What does my session fee cover? The session fee covers the time involved in a session from prep through processing. I will have available to you at least 20-30 fully processed images in your gallery to choose from.

How long does it take to get my proofs back after my session? You will have a link emailed to you containing your private online gallery within a week of your session date.

How long does it take to receive my ordered prints? Prints arrive usually within 10-14 days. This can sometimes take longer for customized products.

How long does a session normally last? 1-2 hours. This allows for a relaxed atmosphere to capture your little ones true personality as well as allow for outfit changes and breaks. Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours to accomodate for changes, feeding, and soothing. Please plan accordingling.

When do sessions normally take place? I mostly use natural light so sessions will be held in the last 2-3 hours before sunset or in the morning before the light gets too harsh.

What should I wear? When dressing try to compliment your familys style. You should try to dress in colors that compliment each other but aren't too matchy matchy. Avoid large screen prints or anything that will detract from your face. Your child may love Elmo but it won't add up to a timeless portrait to be displayed in your home for years to come. :)

Whats the best time frame for a maternity session? Usually between 34-37 weeks gestation is good for portraits.

When do I schedule my newborn session? A newborn is best photographed in the first 2 weeks of life, while they are still sleepy and easily curled up into the adorable poses. Because of this narrow window of time I always leave some room in my schedule to fit them in.
